Nerve and Muscle Disorders

These are conditions where the communication between nerves and muscles is disrupted, leading to weakness, stiffness, or difficulty in controlling movement. In children, such disorders may cause delayed milestones, frequent falls, or difficulty performing daily activities. .

Hypotonia

Hypotonia, commonly known as floppy baby syndrome, refers to decreased muscle tone that makes a child appear unusually flexible or weak. It can be due to genetic, metabolic, or neurological causes. Children with hypotonia often face challenges in feeding, sitting, or walking.

Cerebral Palsy

Hydrocephalus

Spinal Disorders

Spinal disorders in children can include spinal cord malformations, tethered cord, or scoliosis, which may affect mobility, sensation, or bladder control. These conditions may be congenital or acquired.
